• Where is Seriously® cheese made?

  Seriously® cheddar is manufactured in our factory Caledonian Cheese Company located in Stranraer, on the South-West coast of Scotland.

• What are the white crystals in the cheese / why has the cheddar a white coating?

  Seriously® cheddar may have a white coating and contain small white crystals of Calcium Lactate. These are produced naturally as part of the maturation process and are typically found in the best quality extra mature cheddars. • What strength is Seriously® cheddar?

  Seriously® is extra-mature cheddar, which is matured for over 14 months, giving it an intense flavour, beyond other cheddars on the market. More details on how Seriously® gets its intense taste can be found in Grader’s Rules.

• Is Seriously® cheddar suitable for vegetarians?

  All our ingredients are suitable for vegetarians.

• What milk is Seriously® made from?

  Seriously® is made from pasteurised cow’s milk.

• Where can I buy my Seriously® cheddar?

  Seriously® cheddar is available in all good retailers, including ASDA, Morrison’s and Waitrose.

• Where can I buy my Seriously® Spreadable?

  Seriously® cheddar is available in all good retailers, including Tesco, ASDA, Sainsbury’s, Morrison’s and Waitrose.

• What is Seriously® Spreadable?

  Seriously® Spreadable is the first cheese made with Seriously® extra-mature cheddar, which gives it its intense taste. It contains 53% of Seriously® extra mature cheddar.

• What is the best way to enjoy Seriously® cheddar?

  Seriously® Cheddar’s intense flavour means it’s perfect for everyday use, on its own, or as an added ingredient to a delicious meal. You can add also add some taste intensity to your sandwich, or enjoy as an afternoon or post dinner snack with crackers. • What is the best way to store Seriously® cheddar to keep it fresh and lock in the intense flavour?

  Seriously® should be kept refrigerated when not used. To keep the cheese fresh, we recommend wrapping the cheese between usage occasions, either in its packaging or in a thin foil, or storing it inside a plastic container. Our Seriously® 350g block is now available in a reclosable pack, meaning there is no need to open with scissors. Simply lift the flap open for first use, then remove the protective tape and fold the flap over to close the pack.
